The selected grapes are from the Heysen Vineyard, with a sandy soil profile, and also from the Stephanie and Western Ridge Vineyard of sandy loam. Rolf Binder Heysen 2004 features a medium to deep cherry black color. With a pronounced ripe aroma, it gives a cascade of complex earth and fruits.
