Sauvignon Blanc Terravid Sauvignon Blanc Private Reserve 2006 is produced from some of the best Sauvignon grapes in the Maule Valley of Chile. This is the prime wine region. Terravid Sauvignon Blanc 2006 is crisp, elegant and fresh. It is a smooth and delightful white wine that when slightly chilled, pairs extremely well with fish or cheese, particularly Chèvre. It is also known as one of the few wines that can pair well with sushi.

Terravid represents a joint effort that links the respect for tradition of the Old World, and the innovative spirit of the New World, thus combining the experience of two hemispheres. Given the unparallel conditions of Central Chile these wines are produced from old vineyards in the Maule and Colchagua valles, both premier wine producing regions already acclaimed worldwide by wine lovers. The Terravid Cellar arose out of the combination of two large strengths : the great wealth of the soil in Chile’s O’Higgins Region, and the Matarromera Group’s wine-making expertise. This experience and terroir is joined by the technical expertise of Carlos Moro, winemaker at Spain's highest regarded wine producer, Matarromera. The Cellar is housed in a 1900 building technologically equipped and modernized, having a stock of new barrels. It possesses modern wine-making equipment to produce the best quality wines. It has temperature control and the tanks are made of large tree wood and stainless steel. Careful selection of barrels from French and American oak are fused in the finall aging process, providing the winemaker with the instruments that make the wines evolve into the harmonious integration that nature intended. State-of-the-art technology ensures that the correct parameters of humidity and temperature are maintained throughout the whole aging period.
