The Terravid Cellar arose out of the combination of two large strengths : the great wealth of the soil in Chile’s O’Higgins Region, and the Matarromera Group’s wine-making expertise. This experience and terroir is joined by the technical expertise of Carlos Moro, winemaker at Spain's highest regarded wine producer, Matarromera. The Cellar is housed in a 1900 building technologically equipped and modernized, having a stock of new barrels. It possesses modern wine-making equipment to produce the best quality wines. It has temperature control and the tanks are made of large tree wood and stainless steel. Careful selection of barrels from French and American oak are fused in the finall aging process, providing the winemaker with the instruments that make the wines evolve into the harmonious integration that nature intended.
